Meet a Leadership Tri-Cities Class 28 Member: Jeff Hosler

Jeff Hosler is a logistics pro with heart. He’s passionate about unity, local talent, and the power of simple gestures.

Name: Jeff Hosler

Company: Richland School District

Title: Operations Manager - Distribution & Logistics, Print & Publications

My Superpower is: I like to stack things.

Six Questions with Jeff

Question 1: What excites you most about Leadership Tri-Cities?

Every single person on our team. From day one, each person has shown a genuine heart.  People jump-in and take charge, then step-back and absorb.  No one person needs to be ‘The Person’. It’s a true testament to the power of passion, authenticity, and vulnerability.

Question 2: If you could meet one person, who would it be?

Peter - you swapped seats with us on the train from Lake Placid to NYC so that we could have the best views. You hand wrote two pages, front and back, of all the Manhattan local ‘must-dos’. It seemed poetic to not exchange info, but I've exhausted everything trying to find a way to say, “Thank you!”.  ‘Simple’ gestures can be forever amazing.

Question 3: What word or sentence would people close to you use to describe you?

“Delightfully unhinged” has been used.

Question 4: What is one project you would be excited to work on in the Tri-Cities?

Continued unification of the Tri-Cities - in spirit if not organizationally. Establishing an identity that embraces our neighbors (long-time and newcomers) while preserving what's unique about the towns that came to be the TC.

Question 5: My favorite spot in the Tri-Cities is:

Open air. Any place where people are gathered with nervous energy, anticipation, and excitement.  Friday evening at Sausage Fest, pre-race for a local tri, Floyd Gates Field…

Question 6: Something that deserves more recognition in the Tri-Cities is:

Our fine and performing arts, minor league sports, innovators, local businesses... There's fantastic local talent and creativity to support.
